INFORMATION COLLECTION

No accounts or advertising

The IC50 Lab Mac app does not require an account and does not include analytics, advertising, tracking, telemetry, a crash-reporting service, or cloud synchronization. The Mac app does not transmit assay data or personal information to IC50 Lab or a third party.

FILES & STORAGE

Data remains on your device

The app reads or writes files only after you choose a file or destination through a macOS Open or Save dialog. The current workspace may be retained in local app storage on your device. Exported files remain wherever you save them.

You can replace the current workspace by opening another workspace, clear assay data within the app, and delete exported files using Finder. Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete files exported separately.

NETWORK ACCESS

The Mac app is local by design

The current App Store design does not request network-client access. If a future version adds analytics, cloud sync, accounts, support uploads, or another network service, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.

WEB TRIAL

Aggregate page analytics only

The limited browser trial performs assay calculations in your browser. Assay values, fit settings, exclusions, and results are not intentionally uploaded to or retained by IC50 Lab.

The trial uses privacy-focused aggregate analytics to measure basic visits and page performance. Search parameters are excluded and browser “Do Not Track” preferences are respected. These analytics help evaluate whether the trial is useful; they are not used for advertising or cross-site profiling.

RESEARCH USE

Not a medical device

IC50 Lab is a research tool and is not directed to children. It does not provide diagnostic or treatment decisions. Users should not enter personally identifiable patient information.
