QUICK START
From observations to a reviewable fit
- Add a blank assay or select an existing assay.
- Paste two-column concentration/response data or upload a CSV.
- Use long format: one row per response. Repeated concentrations are replicate observations and do not need to be adjacent.
- Confirm the response type and concentration unit.
- Review the curve, relative IC50, fit diagnostics, range support, replicate agreement, and plateau support.
- Export a figure, CSV analysis, or Complete Package.

Understanding the analysis
Why is the value labeled relative IC50?
It is the midpoint between the fitted bottom and top of the 4PL curve. When fitted plateaus are not 0% and 100%, it is not necessarily the concentration at an absolute 50% response.
Why is an interval unavailable?
The approximate 95% interval is unavailable when the fit does not converge or its covariance cannot be estimated. Review doses on each side of IC50, plateau support, assay variability, and the QC notes before reporting a result.
Can I remove an outlier?
Select a plotted observation and exclude it with a reason. The observation remains in the workspace and exports. Exclusions should be scientifically justified; IC50 Lab does not identify or remove outliers automatically.

Keep a portable analysis record
Export a Complete Package and retain its workspace.json. Use Open Workspace in IC50 Lab to reopen it later. Exported files remain wherever you save them on your Mac.
